Data deletion
Prometheus is the business platform used by Italian Secret Ltd to manage orders, customer service and messaging, including WhatsApp Business conversations.
What data we hold
When you contact us on WhatsApp, or when a business connects its WhatsApp Business account to Prometheus, we may store:
- your phone number and WhatsApp profile name;
- the messages exchanged with us and their delivery status;
- for connected businesses: the WhatsApp Business Account and phone number identifiers, and message template names and status.
We do not import past chat history, and we do not sell or share this data with third parties for advertising.
How to ask for deletion
Send an email to hello@italiansecret.co.uk with the subject "Data deletion request", and include the phone number or business account the request refers to. You can also send the word DELETE MY DATA to our WhatsApp number.
We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep some records (for example invoices and order records for tax purposes). In that case we tell you what we keep and why.
Businesses using Prometheus
If you disconnect your WhatsApp Business account from Prometheus, the access token is removed immediately, and the related messages and identifiers are deleted within 30 days, unless you ask us to keep them.
